Swansboro Fire Department will begin flushing all fire hydrants in the Swansboro and White Oak River Fire Districts, Monday, April 11th. This program is necessary for maintenance and flow data used in figuring the fire flow information for NCDOI/ISO Inspections.
Some customers in the areas may experience brief water discoloration and slight pressure fluctuations. Should this happen in your area, please turn on an outside spigot and let it run for a few minutes or until the water runs clear.
