Due to the NC Department of Transportation road widening/waterline relocation project on Piney Green Road, some residents along the Piney Green Road may experience sediment and/or discoloration in the water due to the startup of a new Booster Pump Station on Piney Green Road. ONWASA crews will continue to flush the lines along in that area clearing up the sediment and/or discoloration in the water. The water is not harmful, just simply turn on the largest faucet in your house, usually a tub faucet, and let it run until the water runs clear.
