Residents of the Belleau Woods Subdivision and on White Oak Lane are under a precautionary boil water advisory due to the repairs made on the water main on April 19th. This is strictly a precaution, there has been no indication of contamination in the water system.
ONWASA is requesting that customers in the Belleau Woods Subdivision and on White Oak Lane boil water intended for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing dishes; or use bottled water. Water should be boiled at a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute. This advisory will remain in effect until the water system returns to normal operation which is usually 24 hours after the restoration of pressure. ONWASA will inform the affected residents once the boil water advisory is lifted.
