Phase 2 of the Western Onslow Trunk Sewer Project includes the construction of a wastewater pump station and wastewater force main line, and is anticipated to begin in the near future in different areas. This project corridor will extend from the Kenwood Wastewater Treatment Plant on OCI Drive to Pony Farm Rd. via OCI Drive, Walnut Drive Extension, and Firetower Road.
ONWASA will hold a public informational meeting regarding this project at the above mentioned time, date and location. At this meeting there will be a presentation to discuss various aspects of the project, including, but not limited to, its benefits, the proposed force main alignment, anticipated construction schedule, and what you can expect during construction. Personnel from both ONWASA and the engineering firm of W.K. Dickson & Co., Inc will be available at the public meeting to address any questions or concerns you may have. If you are a consumer in the mentioned areas, we encourage you to attend. Meeting will be held at the ONWASA Operations Center at 228 Georgetown Rd., Jacksonville, on Thursday, June 25th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
