Water production facilities and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as the ONWASA main office, are equipped with generators in case of a power outage to ensure continuance of water and sewer service to our customer.
Please be advised that although we will have staff at key sites and also will be monitoring all of our facilities remotely throughout the storm, we do not have a staffed phone bank to answer calls during a hurricane event. If you need to report a residential water outage or leak near your meter box or other issue with your service, and existing lines are busy while staff assists other customers, please leave a message on the phone system by following the prompts or send us an e-mail via our website by completing the online form under Contact Us. Someone will contact you as soon as possible. For the safety of personnel, crews will not be dispatched until the storm passes and the winds abate, at which time immediate response to whatever Hurricane Arthur leaves behind will be addressed.
