Some residents off of Piney Green Road may experience cloudy water due to air in the newly installed water lines. This water is not harmful and is safe to consume.
To clear the air from the waterlines in your residence, ONWASA advises to turn on the biggest faucet in the home which is usually the tub faucet and let it run for approximately 7 to 10 minutes or until you notice the water running clear again. ONWASA crews will flush the main waterlines periodically over the next few days to push the air through the lines.
