The Board of Directors of Onslow Water and Sewer Authority have
scheduled a Special Meeting/Workshop for Thursday, April 12, 2012.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at ONWASA Operations Center,
228 Georgetown Road, Jacksonville, NC.
The purpose of this meeting is to (1) Conduct a Closed Session in
accordance with NCGS 143-318.11 (a) (3) to consult with an attorney
employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the
attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the public body to
consider and give instructions to an attorney concerning the handling or
settlement of a judicial action in the case of Onslow Water and Sewer
Authority c/o Billy Joe Farmer, Executive Director vs. NC Department
of Environment and Natural Resources Division of Water Quality, (2)
To discuss and make a decision on the Piney Green Trunk Sewer Main
Project Condemnations. (3) To discuss and make a possible decision on
the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility Options.
