Residents on Jupiter Trail and Jupiter Court may experience periods of low or no water pressure on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. as ONWASA Crews install an isolation valve on Jupiter Court.
Following the restoration of service to these customers, ONWASA will issue a boil water advisory for those affected by the water outage. This is strictly a precaution, and there is no indication of any contamination. ONWASA will notify residents when laboratory testing confirms that the water system is operating normally, which is usually 24 hours after the water is restored.
When a boil water advisory is issued, ONWASA encourages residents to boil all water used for human at a rolling boil for 1 to 3 minutes, or use bottled water. There is no need to boil water for showering or bathing.
