Overview
The Public Affairs Department provides the following services:
  • Service Outage Information – relays information on planned and emergency outages
  • Media Information – press releases and routine updates to members of the media
  • Public Information – periodic newsletters and information to the public, as well as conservation information
  • Public Education – offers education on various topics, and educational opportunities for schools and civic groups

Our Mission
The mission of the ONWASA Public Affairs Department is to continually work to inform and educate the public on water and wastewater issues such as why not to pour grease down your drains, water conservation and protecting your pipes during the winter season. The Public Affairs Department also provides educational opportunities and presentations for the general public, schools, and civic groups.
