Facilities Operations

Overview
The Facilities Operations Division is a combination of wastewater collections and facilities maintenance.  

The Wastewater Collections Division is responsible for maintaining the public sewer collections system extending from the customer’s property line to ONWASA’s sewer main to one of five wastewater treatment facilities. The Division also uses precise and systemic approaches to minimize and prevent overflow of sewage and is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the wastewater pump stations.

The Facilities Maintenance Department is responsible for the efficient and effective program of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for water treatment plants, production wells, and related equipment.  The Facilities Maintenance Department is responsible for ensuring that all necessary facilities and related equipment are available for use, water needs of all customers are reliably met, and to assist all other departments as needed.  Facilities Maintenance is also responsible for keeping the inside as well as the outside of the main office facilities clean and pristine at all times, and recommend improvements to the grounds that will effectively improve the appearance of the structures and visual effects of the grounds.
