These include:
Limiting car washing to once per week.
Limiting lawn and garden watering.
Don't wash down outside areas such as sidewalks and patios.
Don't leave faucets running while shaving, brushing teeth or rinsing dishes.
Water trees and shrubs to the minimum required amount.
Limit use of clothes washers and dishwashers and, when they are used, operate them fully loaded.
Shower instead of running a tub to bathe, and limit showers to 4 minutes.
Limit flushing of toilets.
Consider using disposable, biodegradable dishes.
Consider installing flow restrictive and water saving devices.
Limit hours of operation for water cooled air conditioners.
Consider temporarily delaying new landscape work.
