Engineering and Planning provides technical support for projects within the ONWASA service areas. The responsibilities of this division include:
- Development of plans and specifications for water and wastewater facilities
- Distribution and collection systems
- Public works mapping for these systems
- Inspections to ensure the safety and integrity of the system
- Planning, developing, and managing projects from concept through construction
The division accomplishes these assignments by administering, reviewing, inspecting, and approving water and wastewater projects within ONWASA’s Capitol Improvement Plan and from third party developers.
