The ONWASA IT Department is responsible for:
- Planning, implementation, and maintenance of the entire computer network, telecommunications, and electronic security infrastructure.
- Providing network connectivity to nine remote locations and field personnel, including cash collection centers, water treatment plants, and wastewater treatment plants.
- Providing technical support for the 50+ node Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) network radio system which remotely monitors and controls the majority of ONWASA’s operational infrastructure assets.
