The Customer Service Department provides the following services
Provide customer service by assisting customers in a timely and accurate manner
Processing payments in an accurate and suitable manner
Add new service, process existing service requests and complete all service orders and applications
Collect funds for services and water billing, process deposits daily as required by NC General Statutes
Investigating meter tampering and invoice charges
Verify meter readings
To provide superior service to our customers by being knowledgeable, accurate, timely, helpful, and courteous. It is also the mission of Billing / Customer Service to ensure that meters are read in a timely manner and verification of readings are done prior to bills being processed and mailed, accounting for funds collected, and balancing to the General Ledger accounts.
