Customer Service

Overview
The Customer Service Department provides the following services
  • Provide customer service by assisting customers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Processing payments in an accurate and suitable manner
  • Add new service, process existing service requests and complete all service orders and applications
  • Collect funds for services and water billing, process deposits daily as required by NC General Statutes
  • Investigating meter tampering and invoice charges
  •  Verify meter readings

Our Mission
To provide superior service to our customers by being knowledgeable, accurate, timely, helpful, and courteous. It is also the mission of Billing / Customer Service to ensure that meters are read in a timely manner and verification of readings are done prior to bills being processed and mailed, accounting for funds collected, and balancing to the General Ledger accounts.
